Reach Out and Read Kansas City

Cabin Fever 4.0 was not just about Mensa members and friends hanging out together after a very long time apart. Some attendees donated new and gently used books for the Reach Out and Read Kansas City organization. Reach Out and Read provides books for children when they visit local pediatric clinics through three programs: School Readiness, Hooked on Books, and Kindergarten Book Bag. MAM’s Book Lovers SIG hopes to continue collecting books throughout the year for the Reach Out and Read program. ~ Cynthia Heller
