Mensa Scholarship Judging 2025
“Do you love to read? Are you curious about what the future holds in the hands of the next generation?” If your answer is “YES” then YOU and the Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program can help.
The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program offers scholarships to college students regardless of age or GPA. Over the past 52 years we have helped hundreds of people attain their life goal for higher education. This past year we awarded over $200,000 in scholarships.
Last year we received 50,000 essay applications from a variety of college hopefuls. This year we are anticipating that the number will increase as word of our scholarship program continues to spread.
Consequently, we need volunteers, both Mensans and non-Mensans alike, to help us handle the load. All we are asking is for each volunteer to read and judge 50 one-page essays over a four-week period in January/February 2025. All scoring is done online in your own free time.

Hello MAM scholarship judges,
This year’s judging will be a little different than what you’ve experienced before. For one thing, there is a brand-new platform! This one was purchased from a third party instead of being developed in house. Does that make it better? Well, we hope so. I haven’t actually seen it, but I am always cautiously optimistic.
I’ve attached a notice about the program which includes a link for you to sign up. This is the only method available for you to volunteer for this, so please do so.
