Cabin Fever Planning Meeting
Tuesday, December 6th, 7:00 pm
Via Zoom

We got a lot accomplished at the November 15th Cabin Fever planning meeting, but it’s not over till it’s over. There is a lot involved in making a successful event like an RG. We need help and value your ideas! We have some speakers and some volunteer positions filled, but we’ve still got a way to go. What did you like best about Cabin Fever 2022? What would you like to see on the agenda for 2023? Tune in and tell us. Questions? Send an email to: [email protected]

Ethnic Eats
Saturday, December 10th, 1:00 pm
Tokyo Grill & Sushi
617 SW Highway 40, Blue Springs, MO
RSVPs are appreciated. Happy Holidays!

In November, Viona’s Italian Bistro was very popular. In December, we’re going to Blue Springs as requested by folks who live in eastern Jackson County. Tokyo Grill & Sushi does not take reservations so plan to arrive somewhat early so we can pull some tables together.

Cabin Fever Planning Meeting
Saturday, December 17th, 2:00 pm
At a private residence.

Is this a Cabin Fever Planning Meeting disguised as a Christmas Cookie Exchange? Or is it a Cookie Exchange disguised as a Cabin Fever meeting? However you may see it, bring Christmas Cookies to exchange and share a little seasonal cheer with us. There were 11 people at the November 15th Planning Meeting and there may be more this time, so plan your baking accordingly. If you don’t bake, come along anyway. This will still be a working meeting and by December 17th Cabin Fever is less than two months away.

Mensa Scholarship Judges Needed!

We’re looking forward to another fun and rewarding judging season for Mensa scholarships. Please see the full list of the many types of scholarships available. The number and dollar amount of the Mensa Foundation Scholarships are growing every year. It’s very exciting to be associated with the program. MAM local group scholarship judging for the coming year will be conducted solely online. If you were a judge last year, I will be contacting you and urging you to repeat! If you have never judged before, please let me know that you want to get involved. We need and value your contribution. Judging will take place from January 16th to February 15th, 2023. As in previous years there will be two separate rounds of judging, so we should be able to fit your schedule. If you would like to be included in scholarship judging, have questions, or just need some more information, please contact Rhonda Johnston at (913) 671-8736 or [email protected].
